So I'm trying to decide between Northwestern and Georgetown. I was pretty sure I wanted to go to Georgetown, but now I'm not so sure. I really want an urban campus, which makes DC very appealing - good weather, great internships & job opportunities, etc. - and I'm interested in language studies. But I'm an aspiring journalist, and I was accepted to Medill at Northwestern. I am disappointed that Georgetown doesn't have a daily newspaper...and I also got freaked out by the U.S. News rankings since Northwestern is about 12 spots higher than Georgetown (shallow, I know). Help, anyone?

NU definetely, not is it overall a better school, it is more prestigious, better for journalism, there is no question here

They are both good schools but for journalism, Northwestern is pretty hard to beat. But if you like Georgetown better, go there. Don't make decisions based on rankings.
