What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? I've been accepted into the engineering programs at each school and am having a difficult time with my decision.

Northwestern has a considerably stronger engineering school, has the edge in overall prestige, and has a more diverse student body.

Thanks! Is there anything you don’t like about NU?

I would pick Northwestern on this one!

Northwestern without a doubt

Would have to agree with all the other biased posters. Engineering at NU is a tier or two above ND.

Northwestern. Engineering First is a great program, from what I’ve heard. Plus, Northwestern’s materials engineering is top-notch (#4 on US news rankings, if you consider rankings), if you happen to be interested in it. All of Northwestern’s engineering departments are pretty strong, though. Not too sure why you would want to waste this opportunity.

Seriously, it’s no contest. NU.

For engineering, Northwestern hands down. Good luck.
