[<em>] Essays (subject and responses): This was a very conventional essay, about how I gave up on learning how to dive and how it affected me and my beliefs. It wasn't very special or outstanding, but wasn't boring.

English teacher saw a lot of improvement in my writing, told my dad that I was a natural writer, and knew my genuine interest in literature.

<p>I also went to academic programs for two summers. I went to Northwestern's CTD program for AP English: Language and Composition and Columbia's HSP Science of Psychology. Received As in both classes. I also took an online class at John Hopkins called Crafting the Essay, and received an A.</p>
