Ok, all you NU transfers...join this facebook group so I don't look like a freak being one of only two people in the group. Thanks.

Hopefully, I could join the transfer group next year.

I got into mccormick today, does anybody know what the best on campus housing is and if transfer students even get to live on campus?

Am I the only person who hasn't received a decision from Northwestern yet?

I have not either. They say decisions could arrive as late as the end of the June.

Were your application profiles just recently completed or something? That must be frustrating. I was surprised to hear back so soon.

I haven't heard either but my school year is not over.

I haven't heard back either. My transcript was just sent, so i guess it will take awhile. Ahhh i just want to get in!!

i havent heard yet, but my application was completed about two weeks ago, so im hoping ill hear back soon...it is so hard to be patient!!

I sent my deposite in today.

mattburg111 whats your major?

How am I even going to be able to consider Northwestern as an option when I have to respond to other colleges by early June? This makes no sense to me.

I am an applied math major MidtoTop. What is your major?

hey guys...
im an incoming ccc student and i plan on transferring into usc after 1 year. i'm starting to become nervous and anxious about my decision to decline the 4 year schools that i was accepted into (UCI, SCU, UCD) and to attend ccc in hopes of making it to usc. now that i finally realize i need to apply to more than one school i was thinking northwestern could be an option. my uw hs gpa will probably finish at 3.7 or 3.75. my sat score is a 1970. if you wanted to get a rough idea about where i am as a student right now. i plan on getting a 4.0 both semesters my first year at ccc. i will have 29 credits completed (and i'm not sure how many in progress) by the may 1st deadline for transferring (if that deadline is the same next year). are there any min. requirements for northwestern for transferring? i was on the website and i couldn't really find anything. i plan on going into business/business law. sorry if this seems a bit jumbled. i'm just looking for some direction and advice. thank you for any insight.

Quick Question, Did those of you who have found out already receive your decision through the mail, online or both. Which did you receive first?

I received the package in the mail first...I still don't think anything online has been posted...or else I don't know where to look.

my application was FINALLY completed. does anyone know how long it'll take for the decision?

Hey guys, I got accepted this year and plan on attending. Look forward to going to northwestern!

Great job. Congrats!!!

Thank you! You too. They kind of messed up though (not that I'm complaining..). I didn't actually get the big envelope. I got an email regarding my visa status because I am an intl student. The first line reads "Congratulations again on your admission to Northwestern University".

Hmmmm

After having to explain my manager at work why I was all of a sudden so giddy, I called them to confirm and they laughed at what happened, but reassured me that I was indeed accepted. It turns out they sent the mail this morning.
