Northwestern to Wharton? Chance me?

Hello! To start off, I would like to introduce myself first. I'm currently a freshman at Northwestern, and I would like to go to Wharton because I want a business school environment - more practical stuff instead of the theoretical. I don't think I had a good rank/GPA/SAT score in high school, but I don't know how much those matter in college?

Here are my stats:
SAT: 2140 - a bit low for Wharton, I know =[
Reading - 670, Writing - 750, CR - 720.
HS GPA: 4.65/4.00 weighted, 3.88/4.00 unweighted.
* my school was very competitive, so that gpa earned me rank 42/758?
bad 2nd semester senior year grades - 4 B's and 3 A's - will that hurt me?
also I'm retaking Calc 1 & 2 in college, and intro to macro too; they both showed up in my hs transcript, which is a dark side. =(
College GPA: 3.925

Extracurrics:

COLLEGE

What are my chances to Wharton? Yale?
considering - my retakes because my AP scores weren't sufficient =/

Thanks! be brutal please! :)

no need to be brutal

the bad (or not great...there is more good so wtv)

wooah your retaking three hs classes in college? that, to me, seems a bit (sorry cant think of a better word) cheap to take a class in which you are already familiar with the material and kind of defeats the purpose of learning something new...i dont think this will be looked upon in a good manner by wharton

second semester grades most certainly will be factored into your admissions decision if you are applying this early...in fact, outside of the grades you earned this semester, they could be your most important semester grades if only because they are the most recent (outside of your semester at college)

the good:

your gpa in hs and college are quite strong...your ec's seem to be quite strong as well...sat's i dont think will hurt you all too much

i think you will have a shot at wharton, yale is, as im sure you know, insanely hard to get into so i dont know about your chances for there...

best of luck

haha i'm only retaking because i didn't do well on my APs - NU only takes 5's and I had no other choice but to retake. which is why i think that might keep me out of wharton. yale is prob. a crapshoot still.

i dont think ap's are a big factor in admissions, if at all, although i could be wrong...i know they arent a factor at all for nyu...
