I visited Duke during Blue-Devil-Days and I have mixed feelings for it. On the one hand, the parties seem fun and awesome and I know I won’t be bored there. On the other hand, I got the feeling that the campus was really cliquey. Like, you’re either a jock or a nerd or whatever and the groups DO NOT mix. Can anyone confirm or reject this?

I feel like: although amherst would not be as great regarding weather and parties, the community at amherst would feel a lot closer, and everything will be a lot more inclusive.

I’m a person that likes to break stereotypes and groups. I’m friends with the jocks AND the nerds and I hate the labels so maybe Duke isn’t the right place for me? But other than this cliquey feel of Duke, I LOVE everything else about it.

Also, does anyone else have this problem??: Everytime i think i’ve eliminated a school. I find things about it that are awesome.

Maybe I should flip a coin?? (or rolling a dice makes more sense)

Vociferous: I am both a Chicago person and a Duke person. if that makes any sense?
