NU is the only school I applied to transfer to.
Good luck!!!
You too!!
does anybody know what kind of stats people who are getting admitted have? partly out of curiosity. partly trying to make myself feel better
Accepted, legacy and local Evanston resident, second-year transfer from a large state university with a 4.0 GPA, Dean’s List, 17 credits completed, 17 in progress; 4.5 weighted/4.0 unweighted high school GPA, National Honor Society; 1530 SAT; Government Major; ECs include orchestra and competitive tennis; internship at legal aid organization, leadership role at policy non-profit; part-time tutor
That should say Legal Studies major.
I got accepted!
I guess we will be waiting another week!
Congratulations!
Just got in 3 mins ago!!!
I don’t understand, how are decisions being rolled out
ok now that’s impressive
Denied
I’m sorry bestie
does anyone happen to know if community college transfers are getting in or not? I go to JJC. 4.0 GPA, finishing my associates in only a year, 4.0 high school GPA. but reading other people’s stats, my chances don’t look great in comparison
Don’t take this the wrong way, but how could your stats be any better? They look amazing to me! With this level of competition for an applicant pool and holistic admissions, stats rlly won’t be the main determinant anyway.
thank you! I don’t mean to be self-deprecating or “pick me.” I felt confident in my stats when I applied. (I am also native hawaiian and low income, so I hope that somehow plays in my favor?) it’s just that on here and on reddit, people are dropping some of the most insane resumes I’ve ever seen in my life. like, superhuman stuff. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared
I agree with Seawa. Your stats are amazing. Keep the faith!
Denied with a 4.0 from a private university in LA. Extra curriculars: executive board in sorority, dance team, and lots of clubs, and 2 internships
Good luck to everyone! Rejection is redirection:) You will find ur place
