I don’t see the transfer credit tab either.
Also, it turns out that the reason I haven’t seen my aid package yet is that we had accidentally sent the info to Northwestern College and NU never received it. I think the aid should show up immediately for anyone who filled it in right.
Curious about those waitlisted and what you are doing about next steps. Did you have your current school send a recent official transcript, or just write a LOCI outlining how you did last spring?
I actually just sent in the CSS profile and haven’t sent in the IDOC yet. I guess that’s why. Woops, hope it comes in time for committing. I want to go so bad.

Has anyone received any requests from the Transfer Admissions Office for Additional Information?
I tried to fax the IDOC info today because that’s what it says to do as a transfer student, but it didn’t work. Did you guys upload it to the IDOC website or fax it like it said?
I’ve seen a ton of different timelines for when you might get the credit evaluation. Some didn’t hear until a week after being admitted, some (like myself) got it at the same time of being admitted. My guess is that it has something to do with whether or not they are familiar with your college or if people have transferred in from there before. Or, if you took some electives, interdisciplinary courses, or non-standard courses with non-standard content as dictated by their name, it could take more time for them to try to find equivalence between that and something at NU.

Thanks! I actually got my really good news (acceptance) last week. What showed up yesterday was just my transfer credit evaluation. That said, all my courses will transfer just fine, so this was good news as well!

I still haven’t gotten my transfer credit evaluation. I’m a wee-bit nervous.
I hope you hear back soon! I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they’re accepting a few credits that I thought they might not (from an independent learning course I took as a non-degree student on my gap year), so that’s good.
I also didn’t realize until seeing my evaluation that grades do not actually transfer over. So long as you got a C or above, the credits are valid, and the grade listed on your NU transcript will just be a “T” and won’t affect your GPA or class ranking. That’s a little disappointing for me because I did really well this year and that won’t count in the future, but it’s also somewhat freeing because it means that there is no downside to sending them any credits you have.
