<p>Hey everyone. I'm sure you've gotten plenty of questions regarding the topic of "chances," but I can't help but ask mine...</p>

<p>Grades: Straight A's in all of high-school</p>

<p>Class Rank: #4 out of 552</p>

<p>Academic Ambition: All honors / All AP classes all 4 years (one study hall senior year).</p>

<p>Current classes:
AP Biology, AP BC Calculus, AP Economics, AP Government, AP English IV, Honors Computer Science</p>

<p>SAT Scores:
2120 / 2400
1440 / 1600</p>

<p>Extra-curricular Activities:
Drill Team 9th-11th grade (Stress fracture made me quit) - 20 hours a week, 34 weeks a year
City Youth Council (only 7 students get selected to be on the council in the entire city, and it's a big city). 5 hours a week, 52 weeks a year (11th and 12th grade)

<p>Interest in the school:
I got an interview about a week ago.
I've visited campus once.
I went to the Discover NU program this past weekend.
They had a hotel-program back in the spring that I attended.
Applied Early Decision</p>

<p>Probable Major: Psychology</p>

<p>AP Scores:
Psychology - 5
French - 3
U.S. History - 4
World History - 3</p>

<p>SAT II Scores:
Chemistry - 650
World History - 620</p>

<p>Other stuff:
National Merit Letter of Commendation
AP Scholar with Honor</p>

<p>Things working against me:
My school is very new. The best college anyone from my high-school has gone to would be University of Texas.
My older brother never finished college. My older sister is going to a community college. My mom never finished college. My Dad has an MBA.
I'm a middle-class female Caucasian W.A.S.P., and probably will need financial aid.</p>

<p>you definitely have a good chance! smart move applying early bc the acceptance rates are generally higher for early schools. northwestern seems like a fun school, good luck!</p>

<p>Looks good to me. Only weakness I see are the SAT IIs and AP scores.</p>

<p>I think that you have a very good chance compared to others. Your APs are not necessarily bad: 3 does qualify for passing. SAT II's I would have retaken, but it's too late, since you applied early. Your high GPA is very very impressive.</p>
