Any ideas guys?

Also, I heard Northwestern is really good for journalism as well (even though I didn't apply to the medill, nor am I currently interested in journalism). Are there any other distinguishingly good depts/programs at NU? I've recently been accepted to the Arts and Sciences college of both, so just trying to ask around for advice :)

'preciate it!

its journalism, as you noted, is top notch. its economics program is also top 5 in undergraduate studies. i honestly am not sure about other stuff. NU is mosted noted for its graduate business school, Kelloggs, which is considered to be on the level of Wharton, etc.

NU has numerous strong programs. Within the WCAS, art history, economics, and chemistry are ranked in the top-10 while history/sociology are in the top-20 in the nation. The MMSS program is unlike any others and its graduates are highly sought after by elite firms.

Every department in the communication school is generally considered in the top-10 or 5.

Journalism school is generally considered top-3.

Education school is ranked #7 by US News.

Music school is generally considered one of the top-15.

Within engineering, mat sci is ranked #2, mangement sciences/industrial engineering is ranked #7, and civil is #10.
