Northwestern vs Cornell Hotel

Just wondering, which would be better for investment banking jobs?
An econ major at NU or cornell hotel?

bump bump

bump bump

The Cornell School of Hotel Administration is great for what it does, which is to train hotel administrators. Hence the name. But with all due respect to that august institution, I very much doubt that’s where investment banks look to recruit.

Thanks for the response, a lot of hotel kids actually end up in banking and consulting firms which is why i asked

35% of first year grads end up in consulting, real estate, banking & financial services.

oh? 35% is not too high. I wouldn’t mind working in a hotel but i hear the pay is terrible

35% is pretty high for a school ostensibly devoted to working in hospitality.

Here’s the employment breakdown for 2013 graduates if you were curious https://www.hotelschool.cornell.edu/students/careers/documents/2013BSPreliminary-September.pdf

Yea i’ve actually looked it over several times lol, just wanted some personal input, thanks though.
