Northwestern vs Dartmouth

For those who have been accepted to both schools, which one will you chose and why?

I'm always good for an opinion! haha.

Dartmouth is a smaller school and is in a rural (pretty) location. Some might call it "remote." I preferred what NU had to offer - larger student body, beautiful campus next to a great college town and a do-able distance from the great city of Chicago.

The weather isn't great in either place (NU earned the "horrible" award this year, it seems like) so I think it comes down to what you prefer.

Of course, Darmouth is an Ivy and, like it not, agree or not, that makes it more prestigious. What it does NOT do is make it a better school.

Good luck deciding!

I'd choose Northwestern (soley based on location, since academics is great at both schools). Evanston, Chicago >>> Hanover.

I got into both too. I'm leaning towards Dartmouth because they offer both Chinese and Arabic majors.

But that's just me.

Dartmouth seems too small and liberal-artsy for me

I think Northwestern would have more opportunities for internships or jobs in the summer and after school.
