<p>Forget about rankings, just visit both campuses and compare your impressions. UofC does not have a PowerPoint slide show, they discuss their educational philosophy and selection criteria at length, have a panel of extremely bright kids to talk about what UofC is like, and devote minimal time to idiocies that any semi-literate moron can find out for themselves (what tests are required, deadlines, etc).</p>
<p>Contrast that with NU. A PowerPoint slide show that is boring to death, an admissions officer that talks mostly about trivial stuff (score ranges, yada, yada) and is stumped when you ask him "What distinguishes NU form UofC".</p>
<p>If the choice was mine, I would take UofC over NU any time of day, regardless of ranking positions. The difference between a #10 and #15 is trivial anyway.</p>
