<p>Actually, for one being public and one private, they have very similar feels. Everyone always talks about Virginia's "private feel", and then again Northwestern is in the big 10. It depends what you want to study. I personally think Northwestern is pretty overrated and might take Virginia because of the weather. I'd research the program you want to pursue though.</p>
<p>Both really great in business but Northwestern is more into their sports than UVA is. Both pretty relatively conservative schools but I think Northwestern is more academically competitive.</p>
