<li><p>Of the five team members, three of them are triple-major with Kellogg cert while two of them are double-major with Kellogg cert!</p></li>
<li><p>Each year, about 15-20 schools participate in the Chicago regional. Among the regulars are University of Chicago, Notre Dame, and Big Ten schools such as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa. NU always beat them. ;)</p></li>
<li><p>Northwestern failed to reach the nationals only once in 2011. In that year, the score sheets showed a tie between Northwestern and Albion College, the only LAC in the contest; but the judges picked Albion after much deliberation (likely because they wanted to give another school the opportunity).</p></li>

<li><p>Some schools have a class dedicated to preparing for the competition. Lafayette and Bentley, the 2009 and 2010 national champ, respectively, are two of them. </p></li>
<li><p>The semester schools start a month earlier than NU; their teams have significantly more time to prepare than the Wildcats. </p></li>
