Northwestern

Is northwestern university a good college for environmental science?

Northwestern is great for almost everything. Engineering, Business, Biology, Physics, Math you name it.

duke would be a better choice
or Vanderbilt even better(IMO)

^As far as I know, Vanderbilt has no science or engineering department that’s ranked above Northwestern; I don’t see how you can somehow claim “in your opinion” that Vanderbilt would be better for environmental science, a multidisciplinary field.

OP, the reality is many schools offer different curriculum and have different foci for this field. It’s difficult to say which one is good and what not. At the minimum, I’d suggest you to look at the course offering and make sure what they offer align with your interests.

Environmental Science is such a broad field. Which branch are you interested in? Environmental Engineering, Environmental Policy, Environmental Law, Earth Science/Geology, Meteorology, Ecology, Wildlife Preservation/Zoology, Water Treatment/Pollution etc…

Which branch/subfield of Environmental Science are you interested in?
