Northwood Housing Part Deux

On an earlier thread, I asked about grad school housing and got some great feedback. Does anyone on these boards live in Northwood IV or V or know of anyone that does.

Im getting ready to fill out the apps and cant determine if Northwood is the best option. When I drove past there, the housing didnt really jump out at me as being spectacular.

I'm pretty familiar with Northwood. The outsides are not spectacular, it's true -- but inside they are fine - they're townhouse apartments with a basement - and a washer & dryer is included. The best thing really is the other people who live there. Everyone is a grad student and most of them are young. Many have children. So people tend to make friends for life. I think you can fill out the application and see what you're offered before you have to sign. When you're comparing apartments, be sure to take into account utilities, internet, phone service, etc. This is all included in Northwood. You should be able to get a tour.

Wow! I dont know how I could have missed that part. If you conservatively figure $150 for all utilities, tv, DSL, etc..., Northwood comes out to be pretty cheap.

Hmmm... this is a tough call :D

i think cable tv is extra -- but that's it. And long distance phone.
