<p>However i have found out that the uni is really all about clubbing etc, but i will only be 20 when im there!!! can you still get into clubs when your 20 or will i be....well....screwed!</p>

<p>Lots of clubs are 18+; they just won't serve you alcohol until you're 21. You can also go to parties at your campus.</p>

<p>If you can't get into any clubs at first, just study a ton so you can get really good grades. That way you have a buffer if you're out partying all night once you actually turn 21 and blow a grade because of it.</p>
<p>Don't listen to AFPrep, that advice was terrible. Getting good grades and going out have nothing to do with one another. I'm sure you'll be fine in Miami, if being 20 is really a problem, just start talking to the kids there about getting a fake ID, I don't live down there but I'm sure there are some shady places in Miami that will make you a decent ID. Think about it, if Miami is centered primarily around clubs, that would mean everyone as old as you would be going to them too. Most college kids aren't 21 so there's clearly a solution out there for you. Don't worry.</p>

<p>If you're going to go the fake id route, you're better off getting a fake british ID. Bouncers at good clubs in Miami will have gone through extensive training to spot fake IDs; however, their training does not involve that much (if any) international ID training.</p>
<p>Also, are you a guy or a girl? A lot of clubs in florida do 18+ for girls and 21+ for guys.</p>
