I'm nervous and anxious for my decision, too. Like everybody else here, I've worked three and a half years and this is one of my top schools. It's a horrible, anxious feeling waiting for my decision.

But personally, I'm going to wait the extra couple of hours or so for the decision at 5PM today.

Seriously, there's just no point in trying to go through a backdoor to get your decision a few hours early. Moreover, nobody even knows if it's legitimate or not! The "access" and "no access" stuff does not seem to be following a true pattern, and we can't know if it is! Plus, the possible repercussions are way heavier than knowing a few hours early...you might think you got in and you didn't, you might erase a student account or something, and although I doubt UCLA will put you on the waitlist or something, I really don't think they'll be too happy.

So just relax. Wait four hours (or a few more days if its not today). And if you don't get in, it's okay!

you are really right. people need to calm down. even if this is their top school(like for me…). btw i don’t think or at least didnt know they had waitlisting. i thought none of the UCs did that

All the people were doing the same thing last year, and nothing happened to anyone, so don’t worry about it if you signed up.

Oh, and everyone who signed in and it said admit, name and major got admitted. I don’t know how anyone could try and dispute that that is not legit.

if you didnt log on to MyUCLA, youre going to get rejected. its a test to see how badly you want to get in. if you dont check, then they know you dont care about ucla, and you will get rejected.

I dont know why everyones trippin, its not a big deal. Try to log in if you want, or dont if your scared… Its not like there are admissions people checking to see who logs in so they can deny them for being too impatient…

I don’t even have a MyUCLA account. I got an application confirmation email from UCLA, but they didn’t give me any more information. How do we find out their decision?

hahah. honestly. check if itll make you feel better. dont if you dont want to.

My friend Jeni goes there, and every year this same stuff happens. We’re not the first applicant class to discover this. We’re all just super excited right now so enjoy these couple hours. I promise we’ll all laugh at this a little while into the future. =)
