I really want to go to Cornell. Applying CAS ED... or u can suggest some other colleges for me.... thx

Was the topic title supposed to be sarcastic? You look like a typical Asian to me.

no, i think comparing to other asians, i am not really that smart. lol

I think you have a chance like most other applicants. Nothing extraordinary except that u came to US at the age of 13..maybe if you discuss how you had to overcome adversity or something, u might have a litlle higher chance

Other than that, you seem like an average applicant for Cornell, although i will give you extra points for the ping pong

Extra points for ping pong as well (I am an enthusiast for it as well). I think you have a pretty solid chance of getting in ED (75%ish). On the other hand, I don't think you should apply to Cornell early (that has nothing to do with me applying early to Cornell as well, sarcasm).

bump bump~~

Cornell may be a slight-reach for you (mainly because of your Asian status).
Since you are a recent immigrant, I don't think your CR would be that great of a burden. However, your courseload and GPA may actually hurt you. I also came to the U.S when I was 13 years old but I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and am graduating with 12 AP credits. I am not applying to Cornell, but just be aware that once you apply to an Ivy League school , you are up against many serious competitors.
I think you have a decent chance. Best of luck on your pursuit. :] I am rooting for you.

thx you guys, yeah, if i can get into cornell, i will really really happy and work really hard.

anybody else wanna help or chance me????
