EC: decent
Classes: Took every Hard/Hon/AP class at my school, One at Cal. Couple at JC.
Camp Counselor and Math Tutor: 235+ Hours.
Essays: Good according to the people that read them.</p>

<p>Not true. My daughter graduated 2 years ago and all her friends that got the honor invitation letters got into the school. You don’t get an honors invitation and not get in. My youngest daughter is a senior and is now waiting to hear from colleges. True at SD, UCLA & Cal.</p>
<p>@The Legend - Interesting. My stats are higher and I never got a letter to be invited to the Honors program.</p>

<p>It was an invitation to apply to Irvine and it said I would be considered for the program. It also contained a booklet stating what the Honors program is. </p>
<p>I hope you guys are right. I just want the assurance of acceptance into the University before I worry about the CHP.</p>
<p>does anyone know if theres been another wave of admission decisions released after Feb 1-3?
Or any guesses on when the next one is?</p>
<p>The wave theory is still not legitimate… but Im hoping/guessing the next one is this wednesday cause thats 2 weeks after feb 3rd admissions</p>
<p>Please keep in mind that I said the acceptance/rejections come in waves because that is what I experienced last year. </p>

<p>well…my friend told me he got his acceptance notification today, so there must have been another wave. Also he was in ELC, and most of the kids that are in ELC at my school got accepted already, are they accepting top students first? It doesn’t seem random.</p>
<p>Yeah I heard some people got in at my school so the second wave has arrived.</p>

<p>LOL. We should try. But then they would probably say what we see on the our UCI accounts.</p>
<p>we should say that it pains us to wait this long, it is our first choice, and we really want to know. maybe they will understand, and tell us.</p>

<p>Haiz. I hate waiting. Even if I am rejected, I rather find out ASAP. Waiting only makes me think of all the different possibilities.</p>
