Not Applying For Financial Aid

Mostly local ones by myself right now. once break is over, my counselor is going to help me look. any suggestions?

Well, so far, I'm only applying for a few local ones and then five from WashU, lol, I was hoping you could give me some suggestions as well.

I suppose I could just look myself too, I haven't really done that.....haha. I'll let you know if I find any good ones.

On a somewhat side note, I am Native American.....are there specific scholarships for Native applicants out there? If so, where would I find them?

Probably, is there a native american center where you live? there's probably someone there you could talk to, also, your school counselor should be looking into scholarships too. Other than that, I don't really know about native american stuff (i'm pretty much a whitey, lol) good luck though, if i find anything during my search i'll post it :)

Schwartz, thanks! I've found this website called "*****************" and I created a count and am apparent eligible for a lot. I think I'm going to apply for some. Do you the site is legit?

Oh, what the hockey, it just *ed my link, apparently we can't have links? Okay, well, I'll giv e you a hint, it is something about "scholarships" followed by a ".com". haha.

lol, i've never heard of that site before, but i know there are a lot of scholarship search engines out there. You just have to be careful of which ones you use because apparently there are a lot of scams. my counselor gave me some websites a long time ago that she said are legit, but i can't find the paper i wrote them down on. i'll ask her again once school starts.

When you get the info want to let me know? Thanks.

Cos I'm really worried with them being "scams". I'm paranoid.
