Not asked for 1st quarter grades a good thing?

Hey, i applied ED to CAS..

Some people said that people who applied to CAS were asked to send 1st quarter grades.....

I asked my counselor today but she told me cornell never asked her....

is that a good thing or a bad thing? lol...

i knew that college of eng. had to send them in as a requirement..

what's up with CAS?? lol

i didn't get asked...... hopefully its not bad

a lot of the time they ask for 1st quarter grades if you're on the border. could be good or bad considering yoru grades.

ooo yea, i agree...wow this is frustrating, damn it

I have come to the conclusion that they are asking for 1st Quarter Grades only if they could not determine your decision from the rest of your High School Transcript. I am taking it as a good thing. :)

ya i don't think it's a bad thing cuz if they had a doubt, instead of flat out rejecting someone, wouldn't they give that person a "chance" by asking for first quarter grades???

I don't think they are just gonna reject ppl unless they hab C's but rather tell them to send in first quarter grades to see if they have improved or not....

what do you guys think????

I agree. I think that if Cornell has not asked for Quarter Grades, you should not be worried. In fact, i Wouldnt even send in quarter grades unless they are amazing. All A+'s amazing

hehe...i sent mine in without request and they were the worst grades of my HS career. LOL. I soooo defeated myself this admissions round.

my daughter applied early decision CAS four years ago and got in. She wasn't asked for her first quarter grades.

My take is that it's a positive.

wow, that made my day...but again i'm worryin too much over this...i'll know in 8 days, no biggie...

***************oh mannnnnnnnnnnn lol
