Hey guys, it was great meeting all of yall, but I am not going to be attending Wake Forest. I was just wondering if there is a letter I need to send them telling them that I will not be attending?

I hope all of you have a great time at WFU, its a great school!

I sent in the postcard thing, and lol I've been to 3 Wake Forest games and no UNC or Duke games (except the Wake vs. UNC but I was rooting for Wake) lol

It's a great school, but financially it is not possible for me to attend.

Since my sister goes to Duke, I have gone to more Duke basketball games than Wake Forest Basketball games. Duke basketball is freakin awesome. I went down to watch the Duke-Wake game. Although Wake lost, it was an awesome game.

NS347:
Do you feel comfortable sharing how much aid Wake offered? Not that I could judge it without prying too heavily into your family finances and comparing mine, but it would help this mom of a potential applicant get an idea...

on the card that you would have filled in and mailed in with your 500 dollar deposit, you mail that in and check the box that says you are not going. its in the stuff they sent you when you were admitted.

flylikeapenguin: I realized this and sent it in, thanks :)

purplexed: I don't really mind, Wake offered me around $30,000 in grants (and they gave me like 8,000 in loans). Basically I would be ending up paying $17,000 ish a year (u have to repay loans lol)....

Carolina offered me around $7,000 in grants and work-study and a $3,000 loan. making the cost around $8,000 a year. (this might be wrong, I forgot the details, Ill post them sometime)
