Not completely sure what I'd like to major in. Help?

Math has always been my thing (got a 33 M on the ACT), so I feel like I should major in something business-related, but I'm not sure if it's something that I'd want to seriously pursue. The idea of working a 9-5 job straight out of college irks me.

Ever since I was about 3 years old, I've had an extreme obsession with cars and how they appeal to the people around them. I'm not even sure if there's a successful car-related business major, though.

So I'm stuck. I'm trying to stay as far as I can away from English (hate critical reading and hate writing essays) and utilize my strength (math), but I'm not sure if pursuing a business major is something that I would LOVE to do. Yes, the money is good (which is always a plus), but is it something that I'd really want to do?

I don't know. Help me out.

I don't really want to go into something just because of the money, but of course that plays a big part in the decision process. I'd rather do something I enjoy that makes a good amount. :)

I’m not sure why you would think to do business by scoring well on the math section. Most business majors do not take advanced mathematics course. There is even a “business calculus” which is a watered-down version of regular calculus (which, by the way, is considered introductory college math).

Engineering is the closest you’ll come to melding math abilities with cars. I’m not sure which particular branch of engineering is the best, but you should look into it.

I agree. Engineering would probably be best. You can go into mechanical engineering which includes automotive engineering.
