I have not yet been contacted for an interview and I heard that the deadline is the end of feb, what should I do???, btw I live in southern california

PM me, ill give u the phone number for the interviewing director of our area

I was the same 2 days ago, when i decided to call brown and ask about it. they gave me the number and e-mail of the alumni interviewing me and i had to call up to arrange a time... so call brown and see what they have to say...

i was just contacted for an interview and i'm gonna have it this TUesday, March 1st, so there are a few days left, don't lose hope :)

good luck, mistaippa!

I wouldn't worry too much. I had my interview (ED) at the very last minute. My interviewer gave some very complicated reason involving a mixup with "Geocodes." I'm sure someone will get in touch with you eventually.

I called the Regional Rep and she hasn't gotten back to me. GAHHHHH
I don't know what to do. I will call her again tomorrow

You've only got like 2 days to get the interview done, right?

I thought the deadline for interviews was March 1st...

I know that is what worries me. I like Brown but why can't people just return my calls!!! I had a similar thing with the Crew coach.

deadline for interviews is March 1st, my interviewer was supposed to interview me 4 weeks ago, but was too busy and lost the "link"... fortunately, we had our interview tonight and he's going to do the write up before the deadline heh

Yeah, Brown doesn't like to return calls. I've called and left my number aoubt 4 times and nothing. It almost makes you feel unloved.

I'm in SoCal. Had a phone interview. The interviewer said there are more applicants in SoCal than they can easily handle. The interview was mostly a chance for me to ask questions about Brown, rather than an evaluation of me, my personality, character or passions.

I was somewhat disappointed, but it was OK. There's only so much you can do on the phone. Not sure if it reflects on whether I'll be accepted or not.

Are Brown interviews informational or evaluative? Do the become part of the application? Mine was just talking about Brown and not much about me. The interviewer seemed to be selling Brown more than anything else, which wasn't so bad!

they do become a part of the application , my interviewer told me he's going to write a narrative evaluating me, and he assured me my evaluation would be positive... but ya it also seemed like the interview was to also sell Brown to me as well...

Wasn't able to have an interview. They never called me back.
This is just annoying. I love Brown and the people on the board seriously rock, especially when compared to other boards, but why not call me back.

When does Brown send out the envelopes? We want to visit some we hope we're accepted at over Spring Break which is in late March..
Do Yale and Swarthmore send out their envelopes at the same time?

Brown does not notify until March 31.

March 31st at 5pm online, right?

:::shudders::: im scurrrred :o
