Not eligible for UC's? (gpa wise)

How exactly does UC’s consider wether or not you’re eligible for UC’s?

I still havent gotten any word of acceptance from riverside and im beginning to get worried.

I got a 3.0 and a 2.8 for my sophmore semester gpas, but a 3.0 and 3.33 for my junior GPA. Because i got below a 3.0, am i automatically disqualified for UC’s or do they add them all and average them? I got a 3.2some for 1st semester senior year. All of these are in UC gpa.

i believe it means 3.0 UCGPA minimum (soph+junior year).

yes but when calculating ur gpa you have to exclude things ilke sports, teachers aid, etc. only core academic classes.

I already excluded all of those already. However, i will have taken 9 honors and AP classes by the end of senior year.

Sophmore year
1st sem: 3.0
2nd: 2.8 (C's in geometry honors is what made me stoop so low)

Junior Year
1st Sem: 3.0
2nd: 3.33

I think you can get into UC Riverside with a 3.05 gpa depending on where you live but the other requirements you have to worry about is reaching minimum eligibility score for SAT and 2 subject tests...

I've reached and pretty much exceeded it. I got a 1710 on my SAT I.
I got a 680 in US History and 630 in Bio for SAT II's. I'm in state (socal)

They have this eligiblity formula where high enough SAT scores will somewhat compensate for a lower GPA, your SATs are high enough and you average out to around a 3.0 anyway, so you're fine

With those scores youll be eligible

Yeah, you're eligible; UCM/UCSC/UCR are the ones you should shoot for.
