Recommendations:
Should be good, I got one from my research mentor

Schools that I applied to:
Early - MIT, Caltech
Regular - HYPS, Berkeley OOS, Duke

Got into some state school that I really don't want to go to.

Intended major: Mathematics

So...the thing is, I'm afraid that I don't have any safeties. Any suggestions on where else I should apply?

Thanks.

I'd say RPI and University of Rochester perhaps

Lock for RPI, for example...
HYPS are possible. MIT maybe, Caltech maybe. Not to say that you're unqualified, not at all – however, the demonstrated interest in sciences will look really good.

oh my god siemens semifinalist? dude you have a good shot at MIT with that ec.. good job
