Not filling out the Fafsa

So we have realized that we will be able to pay the tuition without any loans as I am living at home. We don’t want to even worry about filling out the Fafsa as we don’t want a stafford loan and don’t want to bother as we know what we would receive and its not worth it. If I don’t fill out the Fafsa but am still attending college what does that do to my loans from the previous year? do I have to pay them back immediately or what?

As long as you are still a full time student, you don’t have to repay your federally funded loans.

This year’s FAFSA has nothing to do with last year’s loans. They are not affected by your decision to not file.
