I am wondering what else i can do with an integrative biology or public health major if i dont get in med school becuase it is extremely competetive

Biology majors are not very profitable (this goes for all biology majors, even MCB). You can see that from the CareerCenter “what can I do with my major” data pages. The average income is around 40k. Most of the jobs you can find involve either being a lab assistant or a low-level biotech employee or a teacher.

You may want to consider graduate school or some other professional as a backup. Keep in mind dental, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, and etc. all have varying course requirements.

If you don’t get into med school… the world will stop turning and the sun will never rise again for you… jk!

Heh, don’t worry, you can still have a life if you don’t get in somewhere… But that’s the worry of every premed, including myself. If you’re interested in research, you can also look into grad schools/phd programs that can get you a very high earning as well.

apply international

dental lol

if you don’t get into med school, make sure your gpa is that messed up so that you screw your chances for any DECENT grad school (dental, research, law). key word: DECENT

Patent law in biotech and pharmaceuticals has a promising prospect.

Biology graduate schools depending depending on the field, often care much more about your upper division coursework over your lower division, while medical schools generally care about your prereqs, which are pretty much all lower division
