Hint: I am in a club that you are involved in.
Along with 5 other people on my team

Tsukasa_Girl, I did, but I was referring to the other schools that have yet to get back to me.

Ahh I see!

Well, I apologize for my behaviors. But my situation is quite unique, so if I’m rejected doesn’t mean any of you will be rejected. B/c none of you got my situation…Anyway I don’t mean to frustrate others, I just feel disappointed about myself. Forgive my anxious. Wish all of you good luck .I don’t think the 2nd wave will be rejections now, b/c I can figure many many waves now …maybe 4-5waves…everyday there is a wave…So good luck again…

what is your situation that is so different from ours? we all applied and want to be accepted.

Hah, I’m international. And through what I guess I’m rejected is UPS service. I don’t think you guys ordered UPS service? Of course we all want to be accepted. I mean the reason I think I’m rejected cannot happen to you guys. So you guys shouldn’t be worried.

Well… it looks like I still haven’t received my decision… online or on paper.

I kind of expect at this point to be rejected. Why don’t they make it easy and just tell the student that they’ve been rejected or accepted online like MIT, Cornell, and even schools like the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

The waves are killing me and I am starting to feel that we (second wavers) were all rejected or waitlisted… I mean, they only accept 20% of students and more than 20% of CCers who applied have received thier decision. This provides more evidence than simply what occured last year.

Maybe I should be more hopeful, but there is little hope.

What do we do if we still don’t have a decision over the weekend? DS’s status has still not been updated online either. He has 2 Ivies to hear from on 3/31 at 5:00 p.m. and that’s it. I am really not liking the way that CMU is handling this as there’s no definite date/time by which someone will know. Even the Ivies have that. I think I will have DS call on Monday if there’s no news, but I’m doubtful that they will divulge any information on the phone.

IndianPwnerDude, have some hope. Your reasoning is wrong anyway.

There were four waves this year, not just two.

I got no blank lines, no letters mailed
I’m still waiting…kind of worried,
but everyday I wait for CMU with hope, she’s always been my dream
SO It’s always worth the waiting…
even not the best result, it was still the memorable period of time

VLXYTC, I love how made CMU a girl :)

And about the waves, qazwsx1! is right - except letters were sent all this week, so probably 6 waves total (including last Friday’s). I highly doubt that everything after the first wave is rejects/waitlist…and this is using logic, not optimism. I have faith in you guys!
