Not happy of where I attend Communtiy college! What should I do? Bad first semester!

@DadTwoGirls do you believe what the following videos on YouTube say?

You’re not Bad at math, your just lazy
Why no one is naturally good at math!
“But I’m Not Good at Math”
A math major talks about fear

I’ve seen your comments on other people’s posts where they said they were struggling or not good at math and you told them they can just forget about doing anything in STEM! I hate how people still believe in being bad at math!

Yeah, the observable ones are fun! Some of my more memorable experiments involved making gel polymers (Orgo), separating the pigments in spinach (Orgo), identifying the compounds in a crushed up pharmaceutical (Orgo), determining the surface area of activated charcoal based on its adsorption (pchem), and investigating the fluorescence of a certain compound (used in highlighters) when at different pHs, temperatures, and states of matter (pchem).

I guess if I’m not happy with what my Communtiy college offers for organizations I can just be involved with things in the Communtiy. I thought about joining the astronomical society in my county, Wabash River enhancement corporation, and going to dance events at dance clubs in the Community. I also plan to do leadership training this fall and then form my own organization at my school. I know there’s opportunities to do volunteering as well but I wouldn’t wanna do it at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen. Would church still be good for people who aren’t religious? To do better next semester, I’m also gonna use a planner calendar.

I’m glad I’m doing better this semester than last. Hopefully I can continue to improve and maybe before I transfer or graduate college I’ll have a year or semester of all A’s.
