I took the Math 2 Subject Test today, but I don't think I did so well. How much will not having this score hurt me for CALS admission? They say they recommend it but it is not required. Does this mean that I can be okay without it? Thanks.

If they like the rest of your application, having it, not having it, reporting a low score on it, is not going to keep you from being admitted.

^That’s kind of obvious… if he has a nobel prize, he will be admitted even with a 0 on the test.

Scoring low will hurt your chances compared to scoring high. I don’t think theres enough data to compare scoring low vs not submitting, though in my opinion, scoring very low has to be worse than not submitting. Math 2 is also insanely curved so you might think you did bad but still come out with 800. It also depend on what major you want to go into…
