Not learning anything from my internships?

I’m currently in three unpaid internships where I make animated videos for various departments at my university. I do enjoy making videos for them, but I find it tiresome how they don’t teach me anything at all. I haven’t learned anything from the internships as my supervisors usually just assign me a video to do and send me on my way. I’ve tried asking one of them to teach me videography and camera basics, but that failed. I feel like self-teaching will pay off more than an internship, which shouldn’t be the case at all as it’s an internship, not volunteer work.

I want to continue them because I can have them on my resume and I can build up a portfolio, but half of me wants to drop them because I’m not learning anything (I’m also not getting paid for all the work, but experience is the priority here).

What should I do?

See if you can find another internship that is not university-related.
