I posted this question in the Elon subforum, but I got no response.

I applied for Elon with the Early Action (nonbinding) option because they said that they prefer performing arts majors to apply EA. I signed up for the SATs on Oct. 6th, but I remembered a few days later that I'm going to be out of town and I won't be able to stay home, so I changed the date to Nov. 3rd. No big deal, right? WRONG! The deadline for EA at Elon is Nov. 10th, and the SAT scores definitly won't have been sent by then. Now, I took the SAT on 5/5/07 and recieved either a 1660 or 1680, which is alright, but not spectacular. I didn't fully understand the scoring rules, but now I do, so I feel that I can do much better. My question is: should I send them my old SAT scores to make the deadline, then send my new ones? Or should I let the application roll back into the Regular Decision pile?

just a little side-note: I took my first SAT on Prom, and now I'm taking the SAT again on Homecoming. What luck...
