<p>Hey guys. I recently applied to Stanford yet I have not received an interview at all yet. Several kids from my grade have been offered interviews (those applying to Stanford) yet have lower GPA/SAT and less EC's than me.</p>
<p>Are interviews chosen randomly or is there some intrinsic choice in them?</p>
<p>Interviews are chosen randomly. If they haven’t interviewed you then there just weren’t enough alumni in the area, don’t worry buddy</p>
<p>“Several” kids in your grade are applying? Where are you from? I’m the only one in my class of ~250 who’s applying early OR regular decision (as far as I know).</p>
