Not receiving emails/mails from colleges after taking PSAT

So I took the PSAT on October 2017, I clearly remember that I filled in the bubble which gave consents to colleges to send me emails/mails. However, it’s February already and most of my friends are receiving letters from colleges already(even those who have lower score range than me), I just want to know am I the only one who’s experiencing this or why does this happen? It’s very frustrating because I am the only one I know who’s having this problem.

Go on college board’s website and update your profile with schools of interest. I am sure you will recieve plenty of unsolicited mail before you know it.

It’s January, btw, for almost another week.

Did you give the right email address & home address? It’s really easy to make a mistake with all of those bubbles…if you did, you can change it on your college board profile. If you didn’t, you might want to go to the College Board website and click the opt-in button - I’m not 100% sure where it is but I’m pretty sure there is one. Good luck

Thank you for replying. I’m pretty sure I filled in the correct email and home address since I called the college board and they double checked it for me too. I’m wondering does it have to do with the major I chose on the PSAT…because I
definitely chose a very specific one, so maybe when colleges buy names from College Board, they’ll probably buy those who chose the most popular majors.
