Not retaking SATs in Jan after all - do I need to notify colleges?

<p>I already signed up to retake 2 subject tests in January, but I don't feel that I am prepared at all. So I'm not taking it. Under test scores on the CommonApp, I already listed that I was going to take them. Do I need to tell the colleges that I decided not to take them after all? I'm afraid that they might think that I took it but did not choose to send my scores in (they require all scores to be sent).</p>

<p>I’d email them, I did the same thing for a UC school by putting that I would take 3 SAT IIs but ended up only taking 2. They said they’d update my records or whatever. A quick email should cover it.</p>
