Not Satisfied with SAT Scores (June 6)

So I gave SAT on June 6. Although I am an international student but I know the error was on my SAT too. I read many posts of International students testing outside US and they were sure that they exactly saw the error.
Firstly after scoring a 1500 (510 Maths 560 Writing and 430 Reading) I knew something was wrong. My section 8 and section 9 were best. I remember in maths section of 20 mins I did all the questions (even the hardest one). During my practice tests earlier I was scoring in the range of 1800. So I am sure that there method of scoring was literally stupid and baseless. It is completely unfair! :frowning:

I had travelled over 1000 kms to the SAT test Center (as their is no testing center in my city). And all this got wasted! :frowning: Even though if I give SAT again in October , I will miss the deadlines of the universities in which I want to apply :frowning:
I am just so messed up.

I didn’t take the SAT but…

Didn’t the June SAT mishap only affect US students?

I doubt that. The question booklet comes from US. I have read many posts on social media where many international students themselves saw the printing error. I personally was too involved with the questions that I didn’t notice that during the test.

MITer is right. The error only affected US test takers.

check your SAT ONLINE SCORE REPORT, it is written: total cr question 67, and math 54…so it did not affect international students

Im almost certain that the June SAT test affected only those in the US. I think the international students believed they saw the printing error too, since they heard from the US students first that ETS messed up with the time numbers.

@lbieee I’m sure of the error, I have tried contacting CollegeBoard but no positive response, I’m also an international student. Have you called to find out yourself?

No I haven’t. Although I mailed them but they didn’t gave me a direct answer :frowning: Please let me know if you get any updates.

International students were not affected by the June 6th error regardless of what you may have heard.

Practice tests are just for practice. You shouldn’t take your practice test score as a promise.

Also, in American english, students “take” a test.

This.
