well, I have the same question. but didn't see any comment.

Hi so I signed up for the June SAT before I got my May SAT score thinking that I could just take the SAT one last time in June. However, my May score was much lower than I expected and I do not feel ready for the June exam, as I did not study for it.

The June exam would be my third time taking the SAT but I want to cancel the registration but I can't. The collegeboard phone number wont pick up so I just sent an email.

I read many threads concerning whether skipping the SAT will hurt you or not. Most of them said that it is okay to skip the test and there will be no harm and they won't grade your SAT and your score will not be given. But these posts are all from 2005-2010ish.

I'm not sure if the policy has changed over the past three years but I just clarification whether missing the test would do anything. Will colleges know I didn't show up to my test? Will I get a really low score for not showing up? Will anything happen or will I just lose $50 (which I really dont mind)?

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ANSWERS
