Not so good SAT's

I have taken the ACT and the SAT. My ACT is 33 but my SAT is only 1840. Will this greatly affect my chances of getting into Cornell? I have pretty good ec's and am a first gen college student. I'm applying ED to Engineering. Thanks!

What’s the breakdown for your SAT score?

670 math, 640 reading and 570 writing. Sorry I meant 1880. My ACT is 32 math, 32 English, 34 science, and 35 reading.

ACT (with writing) is the same as the SAT. You ACT score may be in Cornell’s range.

Yea my act is the 75th percentile at Cornell.

You can send your ACT and SAT2 subject tests without sending your SAT 1

They’re already sent :(

That SAT will hurt you but you can only pray.

I don’t think the SAT will hurt you in light of the ACT score. It may be a moment of pause, but I’d guess only a brief moment. What they really care about is that you clearly are intellectually capable of handling Cornell, at least by the standardized test score criterion.
