Income Bracket: Low income (single parent worker, other parent is unemployed and is on disability aid) financial aid probably be my deciding factor for college

Parents: Both only graduated from high school in korea, I'm the first person in my family to go to college

Looking to major in Internation Relations/ National Security/ Peace and Conflict Resolution
I already got accepted to Penn State (but rejected by Schreyers), UPitt, and Temple.

Also, it might seem that I do too many things just to make by stats look better but its not true. After coming to high school, I realized how much I loved being in clubs and helping out at school or community events. I do it because I like to and want to. If my only goal was to get into to college than I probably would have joined more clubs such as the Science fair team or model UN club. Anyways, please chance me and I will chance back!! Thankss in advance

I think NYU and GWU is a reach, but I think you can get into the rest of the schools

thanks for the quick feedback!!

anyone else???

200 views and only 1 feedback??? Bump, anyone?

I think Wellesley will be hard and the rest more likely. NYU won’t give you the aid.

Wellesley and NYU reaches.
As waverly said, don’t expect aid from NYU.

yea, i sort of figured that after all the stuff I heard about NYU’s financial aid that it might be hard for me to attend even if I do make it in. And yes, Wellesley is my dream school, so I am just hoping for some miracle to happen.

Does anyone know my chances for Franklin and Marshall College? I researched online and I have seen many people with stats either similar or better than mine. Can anyone give me a guess or an estimate as what might happen?
