Not sure about liberal arts school

So i would like to attend a small liberal arts school in maryland. (St. Mary's College of Maryland)

However, i dont really know much about liberal arts schools so i was wondering how it would effect me in pursuing premed (for better or worse)

btw, they also call themselvs a "Honors College", could someone comment on that also

Thanks for your time

Calling themselves and honors college is meaningless.

Any reputable 4 year school where you’ll do well is a good choice.

In reality it turns out the “honors college” title is not meaningless.

If you look into state law, in the early '90s the state legislature designated St. Mary’s as Maryland’s public honors college. Only Maryland and Florida (New College of Florida) have gone to these lengths to strengthen top-notch public liberal arts alternatives. This title has serious effects on their state appropriations and governance structure.

What radial said makes sense.

Although, until more schools adobt this idea then i dont think itll hold much weight when applying to med school.

Maybe in-directly, as in since its an honors college you get a better education and therefor get higher test scores
