Not sure about this case

<p>Most people here will reply that it's a good thing because first generation is a slight tip factor.</p>

<p>In truth it's a disadvantage. Chances are you go to a school that sends few to top colleges. You, if like most first gen kids, did not go to summer enrichment programs, have tutors or travel the world as a child. You probably don't go to a top private school. Of course there are exceptions.</p>

<p>Rich kids whose parents went to top colleges are legacies there and tend to go to schools that feed into top colleges. They have gotten the best preparation through great schools, tutoring, one-on-one test prep and private college counselors.</p>

<p>Who has the advantage?</p>

<p>actually we're middle class, i did have tutors and take summer enrighment classes as for traveling the world ...we do go on family trips atleast twice a year out of america lol...but then again my parents work here and they own a business in london (which is also another source of our money)</p>
