Not sure I even want to open this can of worms... but Alabama vs. Auburn?

<p>Yes, I realize the rivalry. I lived there for 9 years. Now I am in Arizona and we have U of A vs. ASU. The fact of the matter is that both of them are going to better for different things. I am looking at a major in biology and a minor in psychology. I know Auburn is very strong for veterinary science, but does it have a better general biology program? How is the merit aid? I know Alabama's is very strong - my ACT and SAT can pay for tuition for me, I believe, and if I make NMF (I am a likely NMSF), the package will be outstanding. Is Auburn's aid as good? And what is the (as unbiased as possible) difference in the types of social scenes? </p>
