Not sure if FAFSA was actually sent to all my schools, help!

after i submitted the fafsa, i noticed that only the names of 7 out of the 8 colleges i applied to were listed under the part that said "Below are the graduation, retention, and transfer rates for the schools you selected."

Does this mean that the other school isn't getting my fafsa? i know for a fact that it was there in the beginning (bc the school thats missing is harvard, and i distinctly remember it saying "harvard university - harvard college" when i was adding colleges)... but why didn't it show up along w/ the rest of the colleges? was it not sent for some reason? will i have to wait until my application is processed before trying to send it again? bc i cant send it to another school until my pin is verified. and the fafsa is due on feb 1st for harvard. great. :(

Woah, this happened to me too. Maybe its just a harvard thing?

You can always call the college’s financial aid office and ask if they received the materials.

The SAME thing happened to me with Harvard (last night).

It’s DEFINITELY a “Harvard thing” (though might apply to others as well), there is another thread on it and it’s all good.

HOW did we all raise these Harvard qualified kids, and not be able to read, right?

Like you, I was CERTAIN I included Harvard. My D even came to check over the form and COUNTED the colleges. When I submitted…Harvard wasn’t there. I panicked for a day, because of course you can’t access your application again until it’s “processed”. Fortunately, I hadn’t waited until the last day…and it only took 2 days to access it and Harvard was magically there!

I looked back and noticed that what we ASSUMED was a list of colleges to whom you’d sent the report…was actually just a list of graduation rates. It wasn’t a “confirmation” of any sort. We didn’t actually READ anything, right, we saw our EFC and that list/table and thought it should be on there.

Still…why is Harvard missing? Well, it’s a new step, so either Harvard is choosing not to participate, or there is a glitch, or they’re not set up, whatever. Scary, eh?

Don’t worry - if you’re sure you sent it - I’m sure you’ll see it when you’re again able to access your filing.

thanks everyone! yeah it was a harvard thing… my fafsa app was processed and i saw that harvard was listed on their site :)

am i glad i saw this post. same thing happened to me and my first thought was to check college discussion to see if anyone else had the same problem, but I did not since I was scrambling to see if I could resubmit before the due deadline. Now that I checked here I am so relieved! Thanks all
