Not sure if I want pre-med

My two interest are in economics and medical. I'll be entering Nebraska next year to major in economics. But the problem is that I can't decide if I want pre-med or econ. I'd like to have a decision within my first year so I'm able to graduate on time. How do I get a taste of both pre-med and econ in freshman year so that I can decide which I like more?

Thanks

Major in economics but take the required pre-med courses for med school...you can't major in pre-med.

i also share this same problem... however, I know that if I continued an econ major, and then changed my mind about doing med, the pre med reqs would be worthless and ruin my gpa, and this would definitely hurt my changes of getting into business schools or grad schools. Should this be a concern???

just do well in all ur courses. have the mindset that ull do fine in ne course you take. and no they won't be worthless cuz they'll show how well-rounded u are. every class has its purpose...
