Hi, so for most of my colleges, I can see that my ACT scores have been received. But for Bowdoin and Swarthmore specifically, I have no clue of finding out.
On my Swarthmore application checklist, I still don’t know whether or not they received my ACT scores. In fact, the ACT score isn’t even part of the checklist so I don’t know if it is “Missing” or not. If it’s not on my Checklist, I don’t have any way of finding out.
Same thing for Bowdoin. It’s not part of my application checklist, so I am unsure. The strange thing is that the SAT Subject Tests I sent are part of the checklist and have been received.
I sent my ACT scores on December 27th, and I checked the order history again. I definitely did indeed send to these two schools. Anyone else have this problem and any advice on what I should do?
D’s score did not show up at Vassar even though ACT site showed it being sent. I would call Bowdoin after confirming on ACT site that it was sent and then send again. Maybe they won’t show it on your portal but that seems goofy
There usually is a place on your portal that says "Standardized Test Scores (SAT or ACT). You have two options. You could wait it out and see if they contact you asking for the scores and you deal with it then, or you email them asking if they received the scores, clarifying you aren’t sure because the portal checklist isn’t clear, and giving them your name and ACT ID. (ACT ID can be found by going to your ACT scores (where you initially clicked to see them when you first got them) and pressing Sample Score Report.
Nine chances out of ten, Bowdoin and Swarthmore may not have gotten the batches in yet. I know that when I wasn’t sure if two places got my scores (which was strange because two other schools that I sent the scores with did) I emailed the offices. The next day, both colleges registered my scores in the portal.
