everyone talks about "strong" letters of reccomendation. Here is a letter from one of my teachers, would you consider is good?

I am writing this letter on behalf of psufan1993, who has applied for admission to (x) University for the 2011-12 school year. psufan1993 is truly an intelligent, conscientious, articulate, and well-rounded young man who would be a valuable asset to Temple University. Therefore, it is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I recommend psufan1993 for immediate admission to (x) University.
I had the pleasure of teaching psufan1993 in my Honors Modern United States history course last spring, in which he earned an A- average. psufan1993 was a true leader among his peers and displayed a remarkable and consistent work ethic. Regardless of the class activity, I knew I could count on psufan1993 to be an active and valuable participant. psufan1993 consistently demonstrated a pervasive love for learning, as he truly seemed to derive pleasure from extending his own wealth of knowledge. Moreover, psufan1993 demonstrated outstanding oratory skill, as he was always able to make insightful and relevant additions to any class discussion. In addition to his oratory skills, psufan1993 was also a gifted writer. Each essay he wrote for me was well developed and used a great deal of specific information to support an analytical thesis statement. He particularly excelled in the skill of document-based questions, which required him to read and analyze a series of short historical documents and then to create and defend an analytical thesis statement using the documents as evidence. psufan1993 was able to earn a perfect score on this skill by the end of the semester. psufan1993 also wrote a well-constructed formal research paper on the impact of rock and roll on American society, earning an 88%. Overall, Dominic put 110% effort into every assignment I asked of him. Aside from his research paper, other excellent examples of this were his semester-long current events project, on which he earned an 88%, and his scrapbook project on 1950s American society, on which he earned a 97%. He maintained a positive and enthusiastic attitude throughout the class and displayed remarkable maturity and responsibility. psufan1993s academic success is clearly not limited to my class, as he has been inducted into the Delta Epsilon Phi German honors society.
To concentrate solely on his academics, however, would slight this remarkable and well-rounded student. Dominic is a four-year member of our Varsity golf team. He has also maintained a part-time job as a photo technician at a local CVS pharmacy.
It has been an absolute pleasure for me to get to know psufan1993 over the past several months, as he truly is a remarkable young man. As a student, psufan1993 is determined, conscientious, and thirsty for knowledge. While it is clear from his academic transcripts that Mr. Rotella is a talented and devoted student, the transcripts leave out some of the most important personal characteristics of psufan1993. It is overwhelmingly clear to me that psufan1993 would enhance the community of (x) University, as he is a young man who has a bright future ahead of him. Therefore, I ask you to grant him immediate admission.
