For months, I've been concerned about not knowing what interests me. I've discovered that I read mostly sci-fi and I read about business, technology, science, and education in the newspaper. My favorite classes in school have been math and science. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be interested in something related to math or science, but I have no idea how to actually DO something related to my interests. What hobbies can I take up in these areas? I've tried programming, electronics (robotics), research, etc., but I haven't gotten very far in any of my pursuits. I think I fail partly because I have no idea what I can do, and all of the things I try to do are too difficult at this point (none of the smaller things appeal to me/I get bored of them quickly). I really just don't know what to do. I think I should try speaking to more people who are successful at these pursuits. At the same time, I don't want to force any of these activities upon myself - I want to find a natural hobby.

Any advice?
